Tips to Be a Stronger Hiker
The former Nashville editor for Nylon magazine, Heidi Jewell was responsible for covering the city’s daily activities. Now residing in Denver, she manages client relationships, digital efforts, and performs various additional duties as an account manager for VOCO Creative. Aside from fulfilling her professional obligations, Heidi Jewell enjoys an array of hobbies, including hiking in the vicinity of Denver and beyond.
There are several tips to bear in mind if you want to become a stronger hiker. Take trail mix, as it is vital to keep your hard-working muscles enriched with nutrients. Bringing a lunch is insufficient; you need trail mix to keep you functioning at an optimal level.
Aside from nutrition, it’s beneficial to avoid wearing cotton while hiking. Instead, you should take advantage of wicking layer technology. Wicking means that sweat will be moved away from your body, through the layers. Cotton, by contrast, will absorb your sweat.
